Werner Mohl

Norbert Frey

Prof. Dr. med. Norbert Frey is head of the department of Cardiology and Angiology at Schleswig-Holstein University Hospital, Campus Kiel. His clinical and scientific interest focuses on Interventional Cardiology, Acute Coronary Syndromes, and Cardiomyopathy/Heart failure as well as Molecular Cardiology.
Martin T. Rothman

Prof. Rothman is a consulting cardiologist at Bart’s and The London NHS Trust where he has practiced for 27 years and is honorary Professor of interventional cardiology at Queen Mary, University of London.
Prof. Rothman has been an expert evaluator of numerous interventional devices and has invented and patented a number of novel devices himself, with more than 50 patents issued in his name. He has also founded, and managed, a number of successful start-up companies while raising more than $200 million in investment funding for early-stage ventures. Prof. Rothman has played a leading role in establishing interventional cardiology as a local and national practice in the U.K. For example, in 1988 he helped found the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society—now an affiliate group of the British Cardiovascular Society—and served as its President between 1992 and 1996.
Author of several books about interventional cardiology, Prof. Rothman is a member of the editorial board of several important medical journals, including International Journal of Cardiovascular Intervention, Intravascular Imaging, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Intervention, and JACC Cardiovascular Interventions. He also has published widely in his specialist field, in respected journals such as The Lancet, Heart, Acute and Interventional Cardiology, Journal of Cardiology, and Catheterization and Cardiovascular Intervention.
