Werner Mohl
Founder & Chief Scientific Advisor, Prof. DDr.,

Prof. Mohl is the driver and innovator behind the PICSO® concept and is a long term academic Professor of cardiac surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. Active in patient care, teaching and research of coronary hemodynamics, cardiac regeneration and cardioprotection he also serves as Chief Scientific Advisor on a consulting basis for Miracor. Norbert Frey
Prof. Dr., University of Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel, Germany

Prof. Dr. med. Norbert Frey is head of the department of Cardiology and Angiology at Schleswig-Holstein University Hospital, Campus Kiel. His clinical and scientific interest focuses on Interventional Cardiology, Acute Coronary Syndromes, and Cardiomyopathy/Heart failure as well as Molecular Cardiology.


Cesar Khazen
Dr., University of Vienna, Austria

Dr. Khazen focuses on Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapies using implantable pacemakers and defibrillator treatments. He is responsible for the development of techniques to improve access to the coronary sinus and the prevention and treatment of device-related complications. Dr. Khazen has pioneered transvenous and non-transvenous techniques for lead extraction and treatments for infected and non-infected complications related to devices and leads. He was strategically involved in the development of steerable catheters. He holds a medical surgery degree from the UDO Venezuela and from the University of Vienna.
