| 22/09/09 | PICSO presented during TCT 2009 Prof. Werner Mohl, the Founder and Chief Scientific Advisor of Miracor, today gave an oral presentation during the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) conference in San Francisco. TCT is one of the main annual interventional cardiology conferences in the world and was this year attended by more than 10,000 interventional cardiologists. Prof. Mohl’s talk “Pressure-controlled Intermittent Coronary Sinus Occlusion (PICSO) to Salvage Ischemic Myocardium: Experimental Results and First-in-Human Use Experience” was given in the “Novel Therapies and the “Best” New Device Concepts for 2009” session. The session was moderated by Dr. Cindy L. Grines (Royal Oak, MI, USA) and Dr. Ileana L. Pina (Cleveland Heights, OH, USA). The presentation marks a start of Miracor’s activities to present the PICSO technology to the interventional cardiology community.
